Operating Principle

Magnetic reed switch being the sensing element, the float switch operates on a simple principle. A float encircling a fixed stationary stem is equipped with powerful permanent magnets. As the float rises or lowers with liquid level the magnetic field generated by the magnet that is present within the float actuates a hermetically sealed reed switch mounted inside the stem. This in turn makes or breaks the contact of the reed switch.

The reed switches used are available in SPST & SPDT type.

 

 

Products

SHRIDHAN offers a choice of various standard, single level, two level and also multi level float switches. From the compact, all plastic version to the rugged stainless steel version, each product is tested for quality and performance to ensure a guaranteed trouble free product. With SHRIDHAN's custom-built float switches, you have a wide variety of choices. The length of the switch may be configured as a single level, two level or multi-level depending on the length from just a few inches to 3 to 4 m. Float switches with different floats and construction like PVC, PP, stainless steel or brass is offered to suit the application.
