Reed chain transmitters: As the float moves with the liquid level, it activates the reed switches, creating a resistance change that is converted into an electrical signal corresponding to the level. This signal can be transmitted to a display, control system, or recorder for monitoring and control purposes.

Magnetostrictive transmitters: They operate based on the magnetostrictive principle, where a magnetic pulse generated by a float interacts with a wire inside the probe. This interaction causes a mechanical wave that travels back to a sensor, determining the precise position of the float. The transmitter then converts this data into an electrical signal that can be used for monitoring and control.
